January 5th 2012, Vanner Fair, the red carpet expo for the Gypsy Vanner horse breed, announces the next Fair to be held in conjunction with Destination Equitation in the Hills of the Headwaters on September 21st & 22rd 2013, at DeerFields Stables Country Inn, Caledon, Ontario, Canada.
Announcement:
The Canadian Gypsy Vanner Horse Club announces that the Canadian Vanner Fair will be held every other year, odd years, enabling both organizers and exhibitors to create a 1st class Fair honoring the Gypsy Vanner horse breed.
Early Online Registration:
Due to limited exhibitor space, an early online registration will be available effective June 2012. All horse and merchant exhibitors are required, on registration, to pay a non-refundable deposit to hold their entries.
Also please note that all horses entries must be GVHS registered.

The Gypsy Vanner has many wonderful qualities. Their beauty is immediately noticed, but time spent with a Gypsy Vanner and their warm, gregarious nature, is a true blessing! Years of selective breeding has developed a personality that is likely the most gentle and docile in the world. They are extremely social and eager to participate in your activities and will do so with beauty and style!
Highly admired, the Gypsy Vanner is still extremely rare in the North America. Due to their increasing popularity, we expect to see many more in the very near future. Traditionally used for driving, they also excel at dressage, hunter jumper and both english & western riding.
